Quote of the Day – Sometimes burning bridges isn’t a bad thing

Happy Halloween my beautiful people! I hope that you all are ready to take on the rest of the week and that you are having a great week so far! Before I go any further, I do want to say that my thoughts and prayers go out to those who were victims in all of the hate attacks last week. That includes receiving packages containing bombs, the black grandparents that died in Kentucky, and the many people of Jewish faith involved in the domestic terrorist attack on Saturday. These are scary times for the world and I can only hope that our leaders step up to do something to bring everyone together rather than trying to create hate.

With all of that said, let’s get right into our weekly PositiviTea! We’ve all been told to be careful that we don’t burn bridges right? But why? What if that bridge caused you nothing but pain, hurt, and anger? Will you ever want to go to that place again? I sure wouldn’t. I understand that sometimes things end a little rocky and you may be unsure if you made the right decision to leave that person, place or thing alone. I can see how you may not want to burn that bridge. But if you have no doubt in your mind that you should have never been around that person, at that job, or in that particular place, then I say let it BURN!

We can’t continue to hold on to access to things that aren’t good for us and damaging to our energy. I refuse to keep ties to something that will only bring me down and not help me move forward. So your challenge this week is to look at the bridges that you’ve decided not to burn and really decide if they’re needed. If they are, definitely hold onto to them. If they are not, well then, you know what to do! I hope you all have a Happy Halloween and a great weekend! Don’t forget to spread  your PositiviTea!
