Quote of the Day – Check Yourself!

Happy Hump day my beautiful people! Can you believe it’s already December? This is the last month of 2018! Have you completed all of your goals you wanted to complete this year? Or are you moving them over to next year? Either way, I’m looking forward to closing the year our with a bang and starting the new year with an even bigger bang! I hope your week is going well and you’re ready to finish out the week on a high note!

This week’s quote is sort of a wake up call for everyone. Especially heading into the new year. We may feel that we are never the problem. That everyone is wrong and we’re right. However that’s just because we haven’t stood in front a mirror in a while. No one is perfect, including you! We have to recognize that there are things we may do that hurt others. Or there are things that we do that hurt ourselves. Are we complaining more than we’re saying what we’re grateful for? We need to have a self check to see where we our in life and what we can do to become better people. I know it can be hard to really dig deep into yourself and check boxes off like, “Have I insulted someone lately?”. But it’s important to stay on top of this so that we can improve ourself and society!

So for the rest of the week I challenge you to take a closer look at yourself and check yourself! Have a great day and don’t forget to spread some PositiviTea!

  1. Hey there! Thanks for checking out my blog post! To answer your question, there are many factors that can tell you if you’re that toxic friend. It could be the vibe that you get when you enter a room. Does everyone tend to move away from you or come toward you. Do you get asked for advice? Are you more negative than positive? People notice that, and tend to move away from people like that. If you don’t hang around a group of genuine people then it could be hard to know if you’re the problem. You may have to come right out and just ask people in your close circle how they feel when you’re around. I hope that helps! 🙂
