Quote of the Day – The Courage to continue

Happy Hump Day Beautiful people!  You’re almost there! You’ve almost made it to the weekend! I know for myself, this is has been one hell of a week. I hope you all have been able to keep your energy and spirits high, and also spread some of that PositiviTea throughout the atmosphere. If your week has been anything like mine, you need this week’s post bad. So let’s jump right into it.

I would be rich if I had a penny for every time someone said, “As soon as I get successful everything will be okay”. As much as we’d like to believe that, we also know that once you’ve reached a certain level of success, there’s a whole other level of problems that you could face. Things like handouts from family, and too much free time, or even loneliness can impact a person. That’s not to say don’t work hard and succeed. You should just know problems don’t magically go away just because you’ve reached a certain level. And within an instant all of that could go away. Just ask the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Or the people who survived the hurricane in Puerto Rico. Success is great but it could easily go away. That’s why we have to be sure to remain humble and be grateful for all of the blessings God and the universe has given us.

But just like success not being final, exactly like the quote says, “Failure is not fatal”. There are many people who failed and got told no. Just look up the story of Hall of Fame NBA player Michael Jordan. Or the story of the most successful talk show host Oprah Winfrey. You would not think that any one would have told them no! I mean I certainly wouldn’t tell Auntie O no to anything. 🙂  However there were some crazy people that did, and every single NO made them better. We may not see it at the time. I for one have been there many times and didn’t understand it. Time would pass, and that’s when eventually the light bulb would go off. Image result for light bulb drawing

So that’s why it’s so very important to not forget the last part of today’s quote. “It is the courage to continue that counts”. I believe Winston Churchill was on to something. You have to have the courage to continue pass all of the many NOs you may get, to finally reach a YES! It will come too! It will be the best feeling to finally receive the right yes that you’ve been waiting on. Let’s not get confused either. During your down time of NO, you may still be getting the answer YES, but it just may not be the right YES! And we all know the right YES! The one that doesn’t give you any hesitant feelings. That one that allows everything to flow smoothly and run its course with no hiccups. The one that makes you feel 100% confident in and makes everything all right in the universe. That’s the YES I’m talking about, and that my positive friends, is the YES that you will receive! So the challenge today, is to go out and see all of the ways that you can overcome the next NO. But also keep pushing forward for that YES that you deserve! While you’re doing it, don’t forget to spread some PositiviTea!
