Quote of the day – Never regret a day in your life

Happy  Hump Day beautiful people! I hope you all enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. Hopefully you didn’t eat too much because we all know Christmas is right around the corner. I swear this time of year is a setup for those with health goals. 🙂 Nonetheless, we must persevere. I don’t know about you, but this time of year can always be a bit stressful. So I hope that today’s PositiviTea quote of the day helps with making it over the hump.

Are you one of those people who sweats the small stuff? I’m talking about stressing over not waking up on time, not doing laundry the night before so “not having anything to wear”, phone dying overnight, forgetting your lunch at home, and so on and so on. Yes all those things are horrible, inconvenient, and can definitely make us seem like the day will not go well. But are they life-altering events? I doubt it. Yet we as humans have a tendency to overreact over just about everything and say it ruined our day.

I’m here to tell you to STOP! Stop letting every small thing ruin your day. My dad used to tell me when I was younger, that I never should have bad days, only bad moments, and I want to pass that advice to you. Even when we do have “bad moments” in our day, there’s also a lesson that we can learn. When we were running late because we didn’t charge our phone overnight and it died, that taught us that maybe we need a reminder on our phone to put it on the charger. When we forgot our lunch at home, that taught us to maybe keep an extra $5 or $10 at the office for those times where we just forget or have a taste for something different! There are so many lessons that we learn through the day if we just take the time to stop and pay attention.

Which brings me to this week’s challenge. I challenge each of you to not let the bad moments ruin your day, but allow them to be lessons instead! Have a great Hump Day and don’t forget to spread a little PositiviTea!
