Quote of the day – Not everyone will make it to your future

Happy Hump Day my beautiful people! I hope that you all have had a good week so far and that you’re looking forward to finishing the week strong! Can you believe that it is already March? I swear that after January, the year seems to fly by! Last week was a catch up week for me after vacation, so I apologize for not getting some PositiviTea out to you then. But I’m back at it, and ready to serve you up!

I know I’m not the only one who has heard the saying, “Some people are in your life only for a season.” Today’s quote of the day is similar to that one. Not everyone makes it to the part of your life when you reach success. That success may be the job promotion that you always wanted. It may be the relationship/family that you always wanted. Or maybe it’s seeing you in a good space mentally and physically. Whatever you’re counting as success, don’t count on everyone that’s in your life currently being there for it.

Now you may find yourself looking at your circle thinking that you like everyone there. That’s perfectly fine, and I’m not saying that the people that won’t make it are people that you have problems with. That’s not it at all. But life happens. People move to different states. People grow in different directions or change priorities, and that may not allow them to be in your life to see your big win. So you have to live in the moment, and pay attention to what those people are teaching you right then in there. This is not something that is always a bad thing.

So this is what I want you to do. Do an inventory of those people that have come in your life in the last 5 years. Are all of those people still there? Are you close with them as you once were when you first met? Has anything in the relationship/friendship changed? You’ll be surprised to see some of the people that aren’t there, however you can still appreciate what they brought in your life, and know that it was exactly what you needed at that time. I hope this brings a little light into your week, and don’t forget to spread some PositiviTea!
