Happy Hump Day beautiful people! This is quite the unusual week, let alone hump day. With the Coronavirus taking over the world and our usually daily life, it’s hard to think of anything else. Like a good portion of the world, I’m working remotely and haven’t had much face to face contact with any other human. For extroverts alike, that could be a little tough. For extrovert introverts like myself, it can be tough as well as peaceful. At least that’s how I’m approaching it. That’s why I decided to go with this week’s PositiviTea quote. So sit back, read and relax. I mean, what else do you have to do in quarantine? 🙂
So hear we are. It’s almost the end of the first quarter of 2020 and most of us are stuck inside in risk of catching a disease that literally came out of no where. There’s yet to be a cure, or even a sign in site that this will be over soon, especially if you’re in the United States. But I want to tell you that it doesn’t have to be all bad. Like the quote says, “A positive attitude gives you power over your circumstances”. You have the power right now to do so much. Yes you could look at this situation as the most horrible thing that none of us could have imagined. Or you could look at it as a time to reset and get organized. I’ve listed below 10 things that you could do to be productive in this time and not take it for granted.
1. Put together a detailed 5-year plan
2. Read a book on self-care
3. Do a few at-home exercises
5. Scrubbing/sage your home
6. Spring cleaning
7. Go old school and write letters to friends/family letting them know you care
8. Enroll in a 3-4 week online course
9. Learning to cook one new meal a day
10. Having a self-love spa day and taking a ridiculously long bath.
I know all of these things may not seem fun, but they can be extremely satisfying and will keep you sane during these seemingly tough times. I hope you all have a great day in this time of quarantine and try to spread some PositiviTea… the healthy way. 🙂
